12 Steps for Christians is a program of growth in Christian Discipleship beginning Thurs. 7/22 at 7pm in Dwyer Hall. For more information contact Mark Pasko

St. Michael's Men have formed a group that will meet on the 2nd Monday of each month at 7pm.  See David Bayer for details.

A Prayer & Praise Service will be hosted here at St. Michael's on the third Friday of the month. This service moves from parish to parish. For the full calendar, follow this link:

Outreach Sunday is the first Sunday of the month. All parishioners are encouraged to participate as we serve the homeless at the Capital City Rescue Mission at 3:45pm. It only takes a couple hours to prep, serve and clean-up. Please e-mail Cindy or John Harmon to volunteer.  

Outreach Committee Food Pantry Basket has been placed in the Narthex. We are accepting non-perishable food and grocery items that will be donated to the Village of Colonie's Families Together Program. Families Together will distribute the food to those in need right in our community. A list of suggested items are listed on a yellow laminated list inside the basket. Thank you for your generous support.

Help raise funds for St. Michael's when you use www.GoodSearch.com as your search engine. Just make sure you select St. Michael's in the charity box. When you shop the merchants through Goodshop.com you'll be helping even more.  
 

Hosting Coffee Hour is a great way to be in fellowship to your fellow parishioners please consider signing up to host. It's not that hard. Click the link to contact the church office for openings

Soaking Prayer--If you need God's love in a personal way and to know His peace, soaking prayer is ideal. Soaking prayer is especially helpful when you have a burden or an affliction where you need special impartation of God's blessing, grace and healing. For more information or to schedule a session, please contact Fr. Hart.    

"Umbrella of Colonie" home maintenance program is a service that connects seniors with retired handypersons who need assistance maintaining their home. Foe more information or to offer your help, please call 459-7152 or e-mail umbrella@colonieseniors.org 

"The King will reply, "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me". Matthew 25:40  The Outreach Committee has placed a yellow collection basket for personal size toiletries in the narthex. The items are being collected will be donated to the Capital City Rescue Mission as the basket fills periodically. Please donate.

Our Stephen Ministry is here to offer Christian care to those in need or crisis. They are trained caregivers in time of grief, loss, divorce, hospitalization, unemployment or loneliness. If you or someone you know needs help, please contact Fr. Hart. 

Altar flowers now will only be placed unless given as a memorial or in thanksgiving by church members due to budget cuts. Altar flowers are $25 for two vases. Order forms are in the Narthex. Thank you, Ruth Krapf.  

Electronic Communications -- St. Michael's has e-mail services available for it's members. Signing up is easy. We have 2 types of accounts available. The most popular is a forwarding account. When you sign up for a forwarding account you will be given a St. Michael's address formatted like: firstname.lastname@stmichaelscolonie.org. You need to give us your e-mail address that you would like your mail forwarded to.

St. Michael's also offers a regular e-mail account. The name will be set up the same, but you will have to configure your e-mail client such as Outlook to pull your mail off the server. E-mail features include spam filtering and web mail. You cannot have a forwarding account and a regular e-mail account.
