This is a new ministry that is simple and easy to participate in and is designed to make life a little easier for anyone who is going through a difficult time. Perhaps someone is ill, or injured, or is spending a lot of time caring for a loved one and s/he doesn't have much time to cook or grocery shop. Often take-out meals are purchased a lot because of this lack of time and energy to cook and that can get expensive. By taking turns to provide a hot meal and/or a restaurant gift certificate we are loving and supporting our neighbors in a most useful way.
Members: Please log into the members section and fill out the questionnaire (located on the documents page under resources) and return it to the church office.
Information will be kept on file and if the need arises, we will provide meals for your family or perhaps call to ask you to help provide a meal. (If you're wondering, the questions consist of the following: how many people in your household, what are any food allergies, what are your food likes/dislikes, what are you favorite local restaurants, are you able to cook a meal and/or purchase a gift certificate) …so we cared for you.
